The concept of immersion: Pornography and virtual reality

This article aims to illustrate two types of consequences of virtual reality: a) aesthetic implications, in order to determine the nature of temporality and the type of emotional reactions produced when using virtual reality, as well as the substantial differences that these temporalities and reactions establish with the modern world of novels, cinema, and television; b) gnoseological implications, in order to determine the cognitive tools with which the user reconstructs and retrospectively completes the narrative experience.
