Violence at the borders. Real and symbolic “decompositions” and “recompositions” of territories
Type de matériel :
68
This text proposes a reflection on the forms of violence at work in a world with open borders through a generalization of economic globalization. The analysis will focus on the effects of the “decomposition-recomposition” of borders and boundaries that are faced with violent acts of contemporary terrorism. The use of violence, both limited in forms and diversified in means, forces terrorism to designate “its enemies” and to reconstruct both real and symbolic boundaries.
