What makes the sensitive quality of cities? This article explores urban ambiences in a kinetic way, considering their fragile and evanescent nature which makes them a phenomenon always in movement. One could think that this kinetic character of the atmospheres is accentuated and highlighted by the mobility of the camera which follows the unfolding of the events, accompanies them and brings them to our attention by varying the angles of view. This kinetic character can also be accentuated by the diegetic temporality which sends us back to the temporal dimension of the ambiences, fundamental component of these. Therefore, which sensitive dimensions of the ordinary aesthetic experience of the city’s ambiences does the film reveal for us, by placing them, during the time of the projection, in the foreground of our sensitive attention?
