Type de matériel :
91
This article examines the relationship between the gendarmerie and sociology. If this atypical police institution does not constitute a recognized object of study for this social science, this can be explained by mutual ignorance and disinterest, despite the potential benefits of their still highly unlikely encounter. The gendarmerie cultivates an aversion to an undoubtedly destabilizing sociology, contrasting with its inclination toward other disciplines more in tune with the expectations of this conservative institution.
