This article aims at discovering the different representations of justice during the Dreyfus affair through press cartoons and illustrated post-cards: justice of class, conflicts between military and civil justice, superimposition of representations of truth and justice, ambiguous representation of Devil Island, unflattering images of judges, sometimes represented – as well as Dreyfus and his defenders – as agents for Berlin. Ultimately, the ambiguity of justice itself in that ideological and passionate war.
