This article illustrates how the systemic approach can be considered in the context of a day hospital for adults. The innovative element consists in the prominence given to the family and the context of the diagnosed patient. Family therapy is the framework of articulation of the clinical analysis, which may lead to proposing participation in the therapy group and, possibly, in a workshop. We are interested more particularly in the similarities between the family and the institution.
