Summary: Mediatized Guilt and Brief Systemic Therapy
Type de matériel :
19
A teenager is caught in the conflicts based on the double bind between the parents and serves as an object of mutual guilt. He developed behavioral troubles and school maladjustment as an adaptive solution or response to the situation he is living. The treatment consisted essentially in a brief systemic therapy, which benefited him and his family; it helped them to develop capacities for change, which are necessary for the disappearance of the symptoms. In the therapist’s absence, the changes introduced were maintained and strengthened due to the family self-regulation system.
