The Therapist and Emotion in the Family
Type de matériel :

The emotions experienced within the family are often at the core of therapeutic interventions. Constructivists often use tools aiming to explicate and share these emotions to facilitate work on representations. Cognitivists use the notion of automatic thoughts constituted in schemas. Attachment theory explains emotion regulation through attachment bonds, which can be made more secure. This work focuses more on the emotions of the therapist and the way they can be used in the therapeutic system: in particular, when in a family emotions are blocked by trauma, or when a borderline teenager or a patient have difficulties in thinking of emotions, or finally when certain feelings such as shame and guilt are persistent.
