La Draille association, located in Marseille, is an uncommon institution in French social work considering its origin and the way it functions. The aim of this article is to report on the collaboration with the management team of La Draille since 1995 through a supervision case. This article is divided into two parts: (1) a historical reminder of its creation, data concerning its organization and its personnel as well as demographic information on its clients; and (2) the presentation of a “typical” crisis situation, an analysis of the dynamics of the interactions (related to the concept of contraband social work, not far from the concepts of non-therapy or contraband therapy used in family therapies), and eventually a few epistemological elements.
