This article suggests using wooden dummies as a tool in systemic intervention. These handy and ludic character objects have advantages, notably the ability to provide the person who has experienced relationship issues with a holistic view, while preserving the non-verbal register and openness with regard to emotional sensations. We review the tool’s various operating times and the types of dimensions that are affected as a result. From a constructivist perspective of cocreation, this medium can be used to reach the mythical level that is associated with this system.
