The child psychiatry patient: From waves to waves

Par : Contributeur(s) : Type de matériel : TexteTexteLangue : français Détails de publication : 2017. Ressources en ligne : Abrégé : During their hospitalization in the “Mosaïque” care unit at the La Petite Maison child psychiatric hospital, young patients are accompanied by the care team in a work of deconstruction/reconstruction of the representations that they have of their family history and their different links of belonging. This work is based on a number of assumptions and beliefs of the care team that make up what might be called the “exposé raisonné.” This work is not without its consequences on siblings of patients and on the network that supports them! This article introduces the key elements that define and form the basis of this “exposé raisonné,” the issues that arise with the siblings of patients and with their network(s), and determines the conditions that enable collaboration and support of this network. Two clinical examples and interviews with the social partners of the patient’s network illustrate this article.
