Inclusion: A change in the goals of social work?

Par : Type de matériel : TexteTexteLangue : français Détails de publication : 2015. Sujet(s) : Ressources en ligne : Abrégé : The concept of “inclusion” has been emphasized by the “National multi-year plan for the fight for inclusion and against poverty”. Notably, this announced the États Généraux du Travail Social (General Assembly for Social Work), which is now being organized. But social workers only rarely use the word. “Insertion,” “integration,” “inclusion” are often thought to have identical meanings, and it is often felt that there is no point distinguishing between them. It is well understood that the word “inclusion” originated in English and was promoted by international organizations in order to give a positive coloring to the fight against exclusion. But it is harder to see any indication of deeper changes in the word “inclusion,” especially when it comes to redefining the goals of social work.
