The concept of inclusion seen through the eyes of trainee social workers

This article reflects on the process of learning and integrating emerging concepts about strategies for action in organizations and among social work professionals. The author formulates the hypothesis that this is a slow, gradual process. The adoption of these concepts in training for social workers and in the field is met with resistance and takes time. For this reason, old concepts have hardly been appropriated before new ones shake them up, challenging professionals and their practices.
