The method and process of the General Assembly of Social Work

Initiated in 2013 by the government, the General Assembly of Social Work aimed to recognize the value of social work, and support it as an actor within public policies on social cohesion. Its objectives were to give new meaning to social work projects, to improve how social work is seen in society, and to share an ambitious vision of social work for the twenty-first century. This article explains the method and process followed, up to the presentation of the Action Plan for social work and social development to the Council of Ministers.
