Par : Type de matériel : TexteTexteLangue : français Détails de publication : 2019. Sujet(s) : Ressources en ligne : Abrégé : The Habitat program was launched by the RAIS foundation in 2014 as the first systematic implementation of the Housing First model in Spain. Habitat aims to provide housing and support to people with long-term homelessness and high support needs. This paper first describes the context of homelessness in Spain when the program was launched and the main elements which favored the introduction of the Housing First model into the country. After describing the main characteristics of the program, the paper presents the main challenges experienced during the kick-off process and also some elements and strategies that contributed to an efficient implementation of the model. The choice of these elements comes from self-assessments of fidelity to the initial model conducted in the three initial sites, Madrid, Barcelona, and Málaga.
