Covid-19: An eye-opener on the social treatment of old age

Constraints and shortages lead frustrations, losses affecting the quality of life and questioning arbitration procedures.In this syndemic situation, the elderly have found themselves at the crossroads of two epidemics, Covid-19 and the aging of the population which has all its characteristics with its noisy, unspeakable and innumerable symptoms, and its place between social imagination and contemporary reality: illness and death, fear, relegation, confrontation, the scapegoat…
