La construction de L'Europe de l'assurance a modifié radicalement le paysage de l'assurance européenne en permettant la pénétration des marchés nationaux par des concurrents européens et en favorisant une diversification internationale, surtout européenne, des portefeuilles de placement. Elle a également renforcé la sécurité des entreprises d'assurances au moyen d'exigences prudentielles adaptées. The construction of the Europe insurance has dramatically changed the landscape of the European insurance market with the penetration of national insurance markets by European competitors and the diversification of investment portfolios through holdings of foreign, mainly European, assets. It has also strengthened the security of the European insurance companies thanks to customized prudential requirements.
