La redéfinition de la formation professionnelle continue, entendue comme parcours et pouvant puiser son matériau pédagogique dans l’activité de travail, entraîne une profonde remise en question des manières d’intervenir. L’article propose à l’accompagnateur AFEST non pas un nouveau modèle à suivre mais des caractéristiques d’action susceptibles de « rafraîchir » le paradigme qui encadre sa démarche. Il identifie trois intentions favorables au développement et à l’accompagnement des formations en situations de travail, intentions trouvant leur potentiel dans une qualité d’attention particulière que l’article caractérise en trois points, mobilisant des concepts du philosophe François Jullien : la décoïncidence, le potentiel des situations et la connivence.

The redefinition of continuing vocational training, understood as a pathway and able to draw its pedagogical material from the work activity, leads to a profound questioning of the ways of intervening. This article does not propose a new model for AFEST trainers to follow, but rather characteristics of action likely to « refresh » the paradigm that frames their approach. It identifies three intentions favorable to the development and support of on-the-job training. These intentions find their potential in a particular quality of attention, and the article then characterizes it in three points, mobilizing concepts of the philosopher François Jullien : decoincidence, the potential of situations and connivance.
