Résumé La santé des populations en situation de précarité est un objectif prioritaire des politiques publiques. Les réalités sociétales actuelles rendent nécessaire une approche socio-écologique de la santé que les institutions et les professionnels peinent à adopter. Les interventions publiques pêchent par technicisme et comportent des éléments insidieux de discrimination : des améliorations concrètes et immédiates sont possibles quand la promotion des droits de la personne devient partie prenante dans la promotion de la santé. Note : technicisme, c’est-à-dire tendance à accorder à la technique, à la technicisation, une place prédominante dans l’ensemble des activités.

The health of the precarious populations is a top priority of the public policies. Current realities in our society need an socio-ecological approach of the health which the institutions and the professionals pain to adopt. The public interventions use the technicism and comprise insidious elements of discrimination: concrete and immediate improvements are possible when the promotion of the human’s rights becomes recipient in promotion of health. Note : technicism, tendency to give a prevalent place in all of the activities to the technique and to the technicisation.
