Mon témoignage en qualité d’ aesh vise à expliquer quelles sont les difficultés à articuler ma position en tant qu’« aide humaine » au sein d’un système éducatif qui, certes, s’ouvre « à tous les handicaps » mais montre des manques flagrants quant à son organisation sur le terrain. Il s’agira, à partir d’exemples précis, de décrire mon expérience du terrain in situ.

My testimony as an aesh tends to explain the difficulties in establishing my position as a “human assistant” within an education system that is certainly opening up “to all disabilities” but which shows glaring shortcomings in terms of its organization on the ground. Using specific examples, I will describe my field experience in situ.
