RésuméL’adoption crée un nouveau lien de filiation. À partir de son expérience clinique au sein d’une consultation d’adoption pédopsychiatrique, l’auteur s’intéresse aux aspects de la filiation paternelle dans cette situation particulière. Il examine le devenir père en général, et tel qu’il apparaît dans les examens psychologiques en vue d’agrément, la fonction paternelle, et insiste sur la spécificité liée à la réduction de la différence entre le père et la mère du fait de l’absence de grossesse pour celle-ci, pour conclure sur les questions soulevées par l’adolescence.

Adoption creates a new link of filiation. From his clinic experience of children and adolescents psychiatric consultation specialized in adoption, the author develops aspects of the paternal filiation in this particular situation. He examines the becoming fatherhood in general, and as it appears during the meetings for the approval process of adoption, the paternal function, and insists on the specificity that result from the reduction of the difference between father and mother because of the absence of pregnancy, and end on the questions raised by adolescence.
