Éducateur spécialisé au Pôle Protection de l’Enfance, j’accompagne des enfants pour rencontrer leur parent incarcéré. Je rapporterai ici brièvement une vignette clinique en quatre temps : présentation du contexte familial ; observation des mouvements psychiques de l’enfant et du père dans le cadre de la préparation des visites ; observation du lien père/enfant et de son évolution dans le contexte de l’incarcération du père ; analyse de mes propres ressentis sur le plan professionnel et personnel.

As a specialist educator at the Child Protection Centre, I accompany children to meet their imprisoned parents. I will report here briefly a clinical vignette in four stages: presentation of the family context; observation of the psychic movements of the child and the father in the context of preparing the visits; observation of the father/child relationship and its evolution in the context of the imprisonment of the father; analysis of my own professional and personal feelings.
