Cet article, écrit par trois assistantes de service social en pédopsychiatrie, a pour objectif de mettre l’accent sur l’exercice de cette profession en centre médico-psychologique infanto-juvénile. Après un bref rappel historique, son positionnement spécifique est développé. En lien avec l’équipe interprofessionnelle, auprès des patients et de leurs familles, en articulation avec les autres structures du secteur, l’assistante de service social valorise ses outils et déploie ses différentes modalités d’action sur le territoire. Entretiens familiaux, atelier thérapeutique, groupe de travail partenarial et interventions conjointes sont évoqués afin d’illustrer le propos.

This article written by three social workers in child psychiatry aims to draw attention to the practice of this profession in an infanto-juvenile Medico--Psychological Centre ( cmp). After a brief historical recap, its specific positioning is developed. In connection with the inter-professional team, with patients and their families, in liaison with the other structures of the sector, it valorizes its tools and presents its different activities on the territory. Family interviews, therapeutic workshops, partnership work groups and combined interventions are evoked to illustrate the discussion.
