RésuméAppréhender la schizo­phrénie dans une perspective proprement psychanalytique implique de la comprendre non par la catégorisation d’un individu, mais par le « dit schizo­phrène », c’est-à-dire par un énoncé qui relève de la schize de la pensée. Dans la pensée, la schize s’oppose à la systématisation ; semblablement, la schizo­phrénie s’oppose à la paranoïa. Faire avec le « dit schizo­phrène », c’est tenir compte du dit en tant qu’il ne tombe pas dans la systématisation unifiante paranoïaque. Il s’agira dès lors d’entendre le dit schizo­phrène comme un dit en attente d’une réponse qui pourra faire chaîne avec lui et grâce à laquelle une création de métaphore sera rendue possible localement dans le transfert. Dans la topologie lacanienne, cette structure – avant tout locale – correspond à la chaîne borroméenne où l’imaginaire, le symbolique et le réel restent disjoints, tandis que la systématisation paranoïaque correspond au nœud de trèfle où l’imaginaire, le symbolique et le réel sont confondus.

How to deal with schizo­phrenic speech ?To consider schizo­phrenia from a psychoanalytic perspective is to understand it not from the categorization of an individual but from “schizo­phrenic speech”, that is from a statement which appertains to the splitting of thought. In thought, splitting –the schism– is opposed to systematization ; similarly, schizo­phrenia is opposed to paranoia. Dealing with “schizo­phrenic speech” is taking into consideration what is said, in that it does not fall into unifying paranoiac systematization. It involves hearing schizo­phrenic speech as a speech in expectation of an answer which could make a chain and through which a metaphor becomes possible in transference. In Lacanian topology, this structure corresponds to the Borromean chain in which the imaginary, the symbolic and the real remain disconnected, whereas paranoiac systematization corresponds to the knot of the trinity where the imaginary, the symbolic and the real are mixed up.
