RésuméPour les garçons et les filles, le premier rapport sexuel demeure un moment émotionnellement important, ce dont témoignent les récits écrits de plusieurs promotions d’étudiants sollicitées à partir d’un texte d’invite dont la consigne était : «  Racontez le vécu de votre première relation sexuelle. » Bien que cette consigne ne prédispose guère à « convoquer » les parents, plus de la moitié de ces récits, tout particulièrement ceux des filles, les font intervenir (la mère ou le père, parfois les deux). À partir d’une analyse secondaire des récits dans lesquels les parents sont mentionnés, cet article se propose de mettre au jour les raisons qui motivent leur « venue » dans une narration dans laquelle on aurait pu a priori penser qu’ils n’avaient pas lieu d’être « conviés ».

For boys and girls alike, first sexual intercourse is a significant emotional experience. This is clearly demonstrated in written accounts collected from college students in response to a narrative inquiry. The instruction : “ Please relate the experience of the first time you had sex” made no mention or even suggestion of “parents”, and yet more than half of the narratives, particularly those provided by girls, involved the mother or the father, and sometimes both parents. Based on a secondary analysis of the narratives in which parents were mentioned, this article explores the reasons behind the appearance of these unexpected guests.

ZusammenfassungFür Jungen und für Mädchen ist die erste sexuelle Erfahrung ein emotional wichtiger Moment. Dies geht aus einer schriftlichen Befragung mehrerer Studienjahrgänge hervor, die gebeten wurden über das Thema „Wie hast Du Deine erste sexuelle Erfahrung erlebt ?“ zu berichten. Selbst wenn in der Fragestellung in keiner Weise auf eine mögliche Rolle der Eltern hingewiesen wird, so werden sowohl Mutter als auch Vater – vor allem von den befragten Mädchen – in über die Hälfte der Berichte miteinbezogen. Im Rahmen einer Meta-Analyse derjenigen Berichte, die die Rolle der Eltern erwähnten, beschäftigt sich dieser Artikel mit den Motiven, die zur Aufnahme der Eltern in die einzelnen Berichte geführt haben könnten.
