Les enjeux du sport associatif français s’inscrivent dans un contexte de développement significatif de l’emploi dans le secteur associatif en général. Mais si le nombre de professionnels de l’encadrement associatif sportif a fortement augmenté depuis une vingtaine d’année, il ne remet pas en cause la primauté du bénévolat dans ce secteur. De ce fait, exister professionnellement dans ce monde de bénévoles se révèle problématique : recrutés sur la base de compétences qualifiées par la possession du diplôme et/ou brevet adéquat (condition sine qua non en France pour encadrer sportivement contre rémunération), les salariés sont avant tout reconnus et distingués dans le club sportif par leurs dispositions au don de soi et leur perméabilité aux injonctions morales de leurs employeurs bénévoles.

The issues for non-profit French sport are noted in the context of a significant growth in employment in the voluntary sector in general. Yet if the number of professionals coaching at non-profit sports organisations has increased significantly over the past twenty years, it should not call into question the prime role played by volunteer wok in this sector. It follows from this that being a professional in a world of volunteers is problematic: recruited on the basis of skills demonstrated by possession of the diploma and/or adequate qualifications (a sine qua non in France for paid sports management), employees are primarily recognized and distinguished in a sports club by their inclination to behave selflessly and their ability to be influenced by the ethical orders of their volunteer employers.

Los desafíos del deporte asociativo francés se inscriben en un contexto de desarrollo significativo del empleo en el sector asociativo en general. Pero aunque la cantidad de profesionales de la gerencia asociativa deportiva ha aumentado fuertemente desde hace unos veinte años, no cuestiona la primacía del voluntariado en este sector. Debido a esto, existir profesionalmente en este mundo de voluntarios resulta problemático : reclutados sobre la base de competencias calificadas por la posesión del diploma y/o brevet adecuado (condición sine qua non en Francia para encuadrar deportivamente a cambio de remuneración), los asalariados antes que nada son reconocidos y distinguidos en el club deportivo por su disposición, su entrega y su permeabilidad a las conminaciones morales de sus empleadores voluntarios.

Im französischen Vereinssport stellen sich Fragen im Zusammenhang mit der signifikanten generellen Entwicklung der Arbeitsplätze im Vereinswesen. Wenn auch die Zahl der hauptberuflich in Sportvereinen tätigen Betreuer seit etwa 20 Jahren erheblich zugenommen hat, wird dadurch die vorrangig freiwillige Tätigkeit nicht in Frage gestellt. Aus diesem Grund erweist sich eine hauptberufliche Existenz in dieser Freiwilligenwelt als problematisch. Obwohl die Angestellten aufgrund ihrer beruflichen Fähigkeiten eingestellt werden, die durch Diplome und/oder staatliche Prüfungen nachgewiesen werden (in Frankreich Voraussetzung für eine entlohnte Betreuertätigkeit im Sport) werden die Beschäftigten im Sportverein vor allem wegen ihrer Selbstlosigkeit und Permeabilität für die moralischen Erwartungen ihrer ehrenamtlich tätigen Arbeitgeber anerkannt und geschätzt.
