À partir de l’étude et de la compréhension des formes de subjectivation dans le monde actuel, on propose la reconnaissance en tant que stratégie symbolique. Pour le faire, on va se référer au travail de la psychanalyste américaine Jessica Benjamin, qui soutient que l’un des points-clé de la théorie intersubjective est l’importance de la reconnaissance de la figure maternelle en tant que sujet, et pas seulement comme un des angles du triangle œdipien. Cette approche permet une réflexion non seulement sur la clinique, mais aussi sur le plan social, permettant de réévaluer des aspects de la sexualité, genre, désir, domination, pouvoir et reconnaissance.

Based on the survey and on the understanding of the subjectivity forms in the present world, I propose recognition to be a symbolic strategy. To do so, I will refer to the work of the American psychoanalyst, Jessica Benjamin, who emphasizes the importance of the mother’s subjectivity recognition, as a key point in the intersubjective theory – and not just as one of the angles of the Œdipus triangle. The present approach gives way to a reflection not only on the clinic, but also on the social point of view, so that it makes possible the shift of attention to aspects concerning sexuality, appreciation of gender, desire, domination, power and recognition, as well as their re-evaluation.
