L’image occupe aujourd’hui une place centrale dans notre modernité. La psychanalyse freudienne puis lacanienne nous permet de penser cette question de l’image autrement que la philosophie puisque la psychanalyse différencie la vision et le regard. Le regard est en effet un objet de la pulsion scopique, ainsi le sujet est affecté par le regard en tant qu’objet. Le cinéma est d’une grande richesse et produit des outils comme le montage qui est l’écriture d’un film. Le cinéma et la psychanalyse se conjuguent très bien pour appréhender de notre modernité.
