Alain Didier-Weill vient démontrer dans cette conférence qu’un analyste par sa présence va permettre à un analysant de sortir de la sidération du regard et de l’impossibilité de parler par le fait d’autoriser « en lui » la pulsation du signifiant. C’est cette présence, Réel de l’analyste, conçue comme vide pulsatile, qui va produire les trois temps par lesquels le signifiant va ouvrir pour l’analysant la sortie d’un Réel non troué.

In this lecture, Alain Didier-Weill shows that by way of his presence, an analyst allows the analysand to exit the astonishment of the gaze and its concurrent impossibility of speech by authorizing the “signifier drive”. The Real of the analyst is here conceived as a pulsating void, a real presence that will produce the three moments where the signifier will come to allow the analysand an opening in what had been an unpunctuated Real.
