Storytelling, narration, and symbolization: Using tales as mediation with adolescents
Type de matériel :
50
By using tales as mediation with hospitalized adolescents according to modern theories on this device, the author questions the potential dynamic of this mediation: how does the story work for a transformation of the most archaic content, the rawest and less secondarized, into more symbolized representations? How can this device initiate the organization of chaos and the impenetrable, the mysterious and disturbing strangeness, as a way of echoing dreamful mechanisms? How can the collective creation of a tale and the narrative dynamic based upon the group’s associations lead towards the transformation of the unthought into acceptable representations for the individual him/herself and make them sharable within an intersubjective perspective?
