From the example of the psychoeducational support of a 12- year-old child faced with great learning difficulties, the author, a psycho-pedagogue, explores the psychological competencies that, when they are not acquired, lead to the challenge of addressing learning constraints becoming impossible. The author then demonstrates how we can draw on cultural elements, and more specifically a mythological story, in order to reconcile children with their thoughts. He details how the words and the story can ease excessive infantile emotions and initiate a reflexive approach and the development of a richer and more secure internal life.
