The author provides a clinical evaluation of a group of twelve adolescents in a pediatric psychiatry unit. The project entailed the creation of an exhibition based on texts that were developed in a writing workshop. This experience highlights the complexity of such a project when it originates from an institutional request, in partnership with a cultural department of the city, for an exhibition intended for the general public. How does one navigate between the institutional expectations, the constraints of the exhibition room, and the need to preserve the adolescent’s intimacy? In the aftermath of this experience, a work of sense-making emerged, shedding a theoretical-clinical light on the experience of both the adolescents and the healthcare team.
