Narrativity and art-therapy

The author wants to show that art therapy and narrativity proceed from the same care process. They have in common the work done on origins, identity, and traumas. The therapeutic value of narrativity is enriched by art therapy. The use of media, the framework set up by the art therapist, and the appeal to sensoriality in a transitional space, frees creativity, with the productions becoming the support for narrative identity. The description of the case of “Mr. B.” illustrates this journey. In this configuration, narrativity is also a mediation.
