Devenu psychothérapeute après trente-cinq ans de recherche en physique fondamentale, je me suis trouvé face à des paradoxes cognitifs qui ont modifié ma façon de concevoir la vérité. Ce débat est une sorte d’expression des paradoxes à l’origine de cette transformation. Les deux personnages qui échangent leur point de vue, en présence d’un médiateur qui pourrait être le lecteur, sont les deux façons de concevoir le savoir qui cohabitent en moi, avec encore pas mal de scènes de ménage.

Truth without Certainty Having become a psychotherapist after 35 years of research in Fundamental Physics, I found myself facetoface with some cognitive paradoxes which have modified my way of conceptualizing truth. This debate represents an expression of the paradoxes at the origin of this transformation. The two people who exchange their points of views, in the presence of a mediator who may possibly be the reader himself, presents a way of understanding these two types of knowledge which live together within me, with not just a few lovers’ quarrels.
