Cet article se penche sur la thérapie du thérapeute qui pour l’auteure est le socle indispensable à la formation de praticien en psychothérapie. Elle décrit comment, au fil des séances et des expérimentations, les strates successives de ce socle se forment et comment elles serviront d’appui au futur thérapeute lorsque celui-ci accompagnera ses propres patients dans la singularité et l’intime de leur histoire de vie. Les pouvoirs publics n’ont pas considéré la thérapie du praticien comme un incontournable pour l’exercice du métier, mais l’auteur nous éclaire ici sur les risques qu’une telle absence fait encourir aux patients.

The Therapy of the Therapist This article focuses on the therapy of the therapist, that which for the author is the indispensible base for the formation of a psychotherapy practitioner. The author describes how, during the sessions and experiments, the successive strata of the base take form and how they will serve as a support for the future therapist when he or she accompanies his own patients in the uniqueness and intimacy of their life history. The political governing body did not consider the therapy of the practitioner as an unavoidable key to the exercise of this profession, but here the author emphasizes the risks that such an absence has on patients.
