RésuméL’objet de ce travail est de montrer comment une association sportive a pu créer du lien social et de l’échange entre les autochtones et des migrants polonais, arrivés il y a près de 80 ans dans un village bas-normand.Ce petit détour par l’histoire, cette photographie en miniature du phénomène migratoire vise à mettre en lumière le rôle du sport dans un processus d’intégration des Polonais. C’est à travers des témoignages, des récits de vie, et grâce aux articles de la presse sportive régionale qu’est identifié la réalité d’une intégration sportive.

The iron PolishThis work’s goal is to show how a sports association could have created social links and exchanges between natives and Polish migrants who had arrived almost 80 years ago in a low-Normand village.This small detour by the history, that miniature photograph of the migratory phenomenon aims to highlight the role of sport in a process of integration of the Polish. It is through the testimonies, the life stories and thanks to the regional sports press articles that the reality of integration through sport is identified.
