Filicide and Destruction of the Fraternal Bond
Type de matériel :

The authors define fraternal incest as a form of death of the fraternal bond, linked to the parents’ filicidal wishes, carried by the mother into the filial relationship. To support this hypothesis they rely on societal and family mythology and anthropology, to signify filicidal events that are difficult to represent. These events may be linked to the family’s difficulty in building a family romance that could justify filial detachment. Two clinical examples illustrating the triple aspect (transgenerational, intergenerational, and intra-psychic), highlight the complexity of filicidal acts.
