Adolescence as Revealing Infanticidal Desires
Type de matériel :

Infanticide is most often linked to the murder of a child or an infant; yet the infanticidal desire has to be elaborated throughout life, as shown by the parental phantasies, which are reactivated when the child becomes an adolescent. From three clinical cases, we propose that adolescence can expose the parents’ deadly desires, often repressed or denied, in situations of differentiation between parent and child. In addition, we consider these phantasies in the transferential dynamic of adolescent psychoanalytic therapy.
