S’il parvient à se demander ce qu’il fait là, à accepter d’être dans « l’après-coup », le travailleur social parviendra peut- être à mettre du sens sur sa pratique et à comprendre la nature de son engagement au quotidien. Si cet engagement passe par l’action, celle qui vise à faire bouger les choses, il peut également être du côté du retrait, de l’effacement.
