On Litigious Delusion: An Introduction

Sometimes considered melancholic, sometimes a hysterical posture, the litigious delusion has seldom been studied from a psychoanalytical point of view. On the basis of clinical data, this article shows that it cannot be reduced to melancholia or hysteria, then advances a few hypotheses on its metapsychological origins. It thus provides a basic clinical approach to litigious delusions.
