The first clinical meetings with a child and his family are rich in teachings. Before addressing them, we will pose some theoretical and clinical elements regarding the symptom and more particularly the child’s symptom or the symptom child. Then the presentation of the meetings with Dan, Dao, Cao Minh and their families will allow us to open a certain number of questions related to, the child’s symptom and its link with the subjective economy of the parents. Finally, questioning the contemporary clinic will promote the opening up of perspectives for reflections related to, the child’s symptom and the exploration of the dialectic at work between the child, the symptom and the truth.
