“Digital writing” or machine writing: The philosophical and educational issues

This paper argues in favor of the concept of “digital writing” and its teaching. It aims to show that digital writing exists, that it has specific properties and tensions, but also that it can be taught. Taking up a number of questions derived from studies on the relationship between writing and computer science, the article considers the pedagogical dimension of digital writing based on the example of the Precip research program funded by the Picardy region.
