Sauf à considérer que l’animation doive se résumer à quelques activités éparses, voire gadgétisées, son développement dans les établissements doit conduire à revisiter leurs fondements culturels et les a priori sur la base desquels ils fonctionnement. L’animation ne saurait être une cerise sur le gâteau mais, pour poursuivre la métaphore pâtissière, doit être comme la farine partie intégrante de la pâte elle-même, élément constitutif sans lequel le gâteau n’a ni consistance, ni existence. Il s’agit donc de réfléchir sur le fonctionnement intrinsèque des établissements en reprenant leurs missions, leurs objectifs et les cultures professionnelles qui les sous-tendent.

It is therefore necessary to reflect on the intrinsic functioning of institutions and to review their mission, their objectives and their underlying professional background.
