If the physical pain caused by lethal illness has always been prominent, the psychic suffering associated with it is less well known. Omnipresent, sometimes recalcitrant, the latter is intimately linked to the dying process. What are the unconscious psychic springs that preside over the death event? In this introductory period, we will explore the economic function for the subject of identifying this pain in the body that does not pass, which the subject is sometimes reluctant to see relieved by palliative medicine.
