Localisation and Origins of the Amyklaioi Dependant Community on the Plain of Mesara in Crete: a Relocation Attempt within the Typographical and Historical Context of the City of Gortyn

The issue of clear references to Lacedaemonian toponymy and socio-political organisation as well as that of the Gortynian expansionism at the turn of the archaic to the classical epoch will be approached.
