En faisant de Judas un personnage ignoble, à la conduite incompréhensible, et de Satan l’ennemi systématique et un peu borné de Dieu, la mise en scène traditionnelle de la Passion leur a fait jouer le rôle d’un inconscient impénétrable, pervers et dangereux, retranché dans le Front du Refus. Cet article propose une autre vision. En faisant de Judas un serviteur réhabilité comme fidèle disciple, et en redonnant à Satan, réintégré dans le concert des Anges, le rôle qu’il a dans le Livre de Job, il permet de concevoir le Mystère de la Passion, non pas comme une rupture schizophrénique, mais comme un jeu d’instances fonctionnant de manière cohérente au niveau humain, sans ôter son mystère à la volonté transcendante de Dieu.

Judas and ongoing feelings of hatred The traditional setting of the Passion’s Mystery, giving to Judas the part of an ignominious character, with an unexplainable behaviour, and making Satan a systematical and narrow minded Enemy of God, reveals a schizophrenic conception, in front of « the Good New », of a perverse and dangerous Unconscious, restrained to Denial. This article proposes another view. By making Judas a faithful follower of Jesus, and reintegrating Satan among the Angels of God (as in the Book of Job), it helps to conceive the Passion’s Mystery, not as a schizophrenic breaking, but as the coherent playing of psychological Agencies, on the human scene, without attempting to the Mystery of the Transcendent Will of God.
