This article aims to 1) describe the psychological needs and expectations in terms of support expressed by recipient couples of egg donation throughout the medical trajectory and 2) propose clinical interventions in the light of the issues and the needs expressed by the couples. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with thirteen participants. Thematic and conceptual analyses were performed to identify the psychological issues, needs, and expectations of the couples throughout their journey. Finally, this article proposes some clinical guidelines and insights about the soft skills and the expertise needed by psychologists working with those patients.
