Sujet(s) : Ressources en ligne : Abrégé : The Covid-19 pandemic brought unprecedented measures and restrictions that disrupted the lives of families, forcing them to reorganize their lifestyles. The objective of this study was to explore the experiences of French parents since the beginning of the pandemic and the challenges they faced. In an online survey, 271 women and 11 men responded to 2 open-ended questions. Their responses were then analyzed using qualitative and quantitative methods. While the pandemic did not change family life for 23.2% of the parents, it produced an overall improvement for 32.7% and a deterioration for 30.7%. Parents mentioned organizational challenges (54%), but also family-related (34%) and psychological challenges (35%). This study allowed us to understand not only the difficulties but also the benefits experienced by French parents during the pandemic within their family environment.
