C’est la lecture d’une lettre que Freud écrivit à Stefan Zweig en 1932 qui me mena à découvrir une autre façon d’être mère que j’appelle : Mère majuscule. Il s’agit d’une production de l’inconscient qui trouve sa source dans les relations précoces de la petite fille avec sa mère. Cela se traduit dans la vie quotidienne par un état mélancoliforme que fait surgir la prise de conscience d’un écart entre la représentation de l’enfant de chair, l’enfant réel et celle de l’enfant fantasmé depuis la prime enfance. Une intrication anatomo-psychique caractéristique de la féminité telle qu’abordée par Freud dans les années 30.

Maternity Created The Mother Through the reading of a letter that Freud wrote to Stefan Zweig in 1932, I was led to discover another way to be a mother that I named : Mother with a capital letter. I am talking about a production of the unconscious born from the precocious relationship between a little girl and her mother. In daily life, it translates into a melancoliformed state created by the awareness of a gap between the representation of the real child, made of flesh, and the representation of the child that the mother fantasized about since her early childhood. Si tratta di una produzione dell’inconscio che prende origine nelle relazioni precoci della bambina con sua madre. Ciò si traduce nella vita quotidiana in uno stato quasi malinconico provocato dalla presa di coscienza del divario tra rappresentazione del figlio di carne, il figlio reale, e quella del figlio fantasticato fin dalla prima infanzia. Un intreccio anatomo-psichico caratteristico della femminilità com’è accennata da Freud negli anni 30.
