Comme chacun sait Freud n’a jamais écrit le moindre journal mais en ce chapitre fictif se mélangent le vrai et le faux dans une tentative illusoire d’identification de l’auteur. Est salué ici cependant et dans toute sa véracité le courage d’un homme grand humaniste et savant de son siècle ; précurseur dans son choix de mourir des dernières avancées législatives en terme d’euthanasie. Cet écrit s’inscrit comme une ode à la volonté au courage et à la détermination de celui qui restera, malgré les dire de ses détracteurs, comme un puissant génie.

As everyone knows, Freud never kept a journal but this fictitious chapter combines truth and fiction in an illusionary tentative of identification of the author. What is celebrated here however is the truth and courage of a great man, a humanist and savant of his time; a precursor in his reading of the euthanasia legislative progress. This text is an ode to the courageous will and to the determination of he who will remain, despite his detractors, a powerful genius.

Ma qui è elogiato in tutta la sua autenticità il coraggio di un uomo, grande umanista e sapiente del suo secolo, precursore, nella sua scelta, degli ultimi progressi legislativi riguardo l’eutanasia. Questo scritto costituisce un ode alla volontà, al coraggio e alla determinazione di colui che resterà, malgrado le affermazioni dei suoi detrattori, un genio potente.
